At the recent Vancouver Resource Investment Conference 2014, John Kaiser tells INN Senior Editor Andrew Topf that the junior mining sector has bottomed and that “a selective bull market is underway.” The publisher of Kaiserbottomfish.com says investors are starting to accumulate the better mining stocks, but he warned there are still 600 “zombie” companies that are not likely to survive.
Kaiser also says he’s hopeful that a proposed change to the accredited investor exemption, allowing more investors to participate in private placements, will ignite more interest in the junior resource space. “If they approve this, this will be a very big deal,” Kaiser said.
