    Mineweb(Editorial) reports Haywood Securities is very optimistic with uranium sector this year.

    The editorial is quoted as saying:

    Analyst Geordie Mark has forecast a uranium spot price of US$68 to $69 per pound of U3O8 and a long term price of $65 to $67/lb.

    In his Uranium Weekly analysis, Mark noted the dominant countries of interest in the uranium sector for 2010 were China and Kazakhstan, based on continued demand growth with 27 reactor units under construction, and an estimated production growth of 48.9 million pounds of U3O8 in 2011.
