Copper Gains on Optimism About Europe Crisis Plans

Reuters reported that copper surged on hopes that policymakers in France and Germany have agreed on reforms to put an end to the debt crisis in Europe.

As quoted in the market news:

Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange ended at $7,940 a tonne, up 0.6 percent from Friday’s close of $7,895.
