Oil Producers Cautious on Libyan Output as Rebels Advance

Business Week reports that foreign oil producers in Libya announced that it is too early to consider restoring output at halted fields in Libya.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Libya, home to Africa’s largest oil reserves, produced more than 1.5 million barrels a day before the start of the civil war in February.
