Great Western Minerals on Target to Start Production in 2013

Mining Weekly reported that Great Western Minerals is on track with the refurbishment of the Steenkampskraal rare earth mine in South Africa and is on target to start rare earth production by mid 2013.

As quoted in the news release:

The company said that while its focus was mainly set on completing the Steenkampskraal monazite mine project, it was actively evaluating strategic spinoff opportunities for its four exploration properties in North America.
