Dajin Resources Corp. (TSXV:DJI,OTCMKTS:DJIFF,Germany:C2U1) COO Dr. Catherine Hickson was interviewed by Uptick Newswire regarding the company’s lithium projects in Argentina and the US. Dr. Hickson provided an overview of the company along with their assets in Argentina and the US. She also gave an overview of how lithium can be mined.

Dr. Hickson touched on the demand for lithium, a major component in lithium-ion batteries. She also touched on the two types of lithium mining. The traditional method is used when the lithium is in a solid state and underground drilling is used when lithium is found in a brine. She talked about how lithium brine is formed and the special geography needed to support a lithium brine deposit. Dr. Hickson compared lithium brine mining to oil mining as the brine comes out of the ground in a liquid state that would need to be refined before it can be used.

Dajin has a strong presence in the US with their two lithium projects in mining-friendly Nevada.  Their advanced Teels Marsh lithium project is drill ready. However, the company is looking forward to the discoveries to be made at their Argentina lithium brine project Salinas Grandes. While Dr. Hickson acknowledged the challenges that Argentina is facing right now, she was quick to point out that mining operations are moving forward with their projects.
