ATEX Resources Announces CFO Transition

ATEX Resources Inc. (TSX: ATX) (OTCQX: ATXRF) ("ATEX" or the "Company") announces that Elijah Tyshynski is stepping down from his position as Chief Financial Officer of the Company to pursue another opportunity. The Board of Directors has appointed Jacques Steele, who is currently the Company's Director of Finance, as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Steele is an experienced mining finance executive with expertise in financial reporting, corporate finance and strategic planning. His familiarity with ATEX's business and financial operations provides strong continuity across the finance function. Mr. Tyshynski will remain with the Company through a period of transition to ensure a comprehensive and orderly transition of the finance function.

ATEX is actively progressing its assessment of a number of strong candidates for the Company's Chief Executive Officer role and plans to consider the full-time Chief Financial Officer role in the context of establishing a strong, integrated executive team to lead ATEX through its next phase of growth.

Jacques Steele's Biography

Jacques Steele is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) and mining finance executive currently serving as Director of Finance at ATEX. He began his career at PwC South Africa before relocating to Canada, where he continued with PwC Canada as a Senior Associate. He subsequently transitioned into the mining sector, holding the role of Assistant Corporate Controller at Osisko Mining Inc. He then joined O3 Mining Inc. in 2020 as Corporate Financial Controller and was subsequently promoted to Director of Finance in 2022. Following the sale of O3 Mining Inc. to Agnico Eagle Mines Limited in 2025, Mr. Steele transitioned to the role of Chief Financial Officer of Electric Elements Mining Corp., a private investee company of O3 Mining, while assuming his current position as Director of Finance at ATEX. Mr. Steele brings extensive expertise in financial reporting, managerial finance and strategic planning to his current role as Interim Chief Financial Officer of ATEX.
