Fortune 500 Company, Windtsream Holdings’ (NASDAQ;WIN), Windstream Enterprise announced that it has achieved 1000 customer milestone with its SD-WAN solution.
The company, a leading provider of advanced network communications said that its solutions has been purchased by more than 1,000 mid-size and enterprise customers in numerous verticals.
As quoted in the press release:
Windstream Enterprise credits this rapid adoption to the pace at which businesses of all sizes are embracing a cloud-centric strategy to operate more efficiently, securely and with a high degree of reliability. With flexible management and deployment options and a full suite of integrated managed services, its SD-WAN solution uniquely provides an evolutionary path to a network designed for a virtually always-on, cloud-driven operating model, one with which traditional networks are increasingly unable to keep pace. Coupled with its consultative approach that deeply understands the customer’s business both for the initial deployment and over their lifetime, Windstream Enterprise is the leading SD-WAN service provider.
“Doubling the number of subscribers so soon after reaching our December milestone tells us customers are recognizing the strong core competency we have developed in next generation WAN technology,” said Layne Levine, president of Windstream Enterprise and Wholesale. “SD-WAN’s reliability, agility and scalability can be a cost-effective and essential solution to their digital transformation.”
Building on this success, Windstream Enterprise has just introduced SD-WAN Cloud Connect, a flexible, high-performance way for enterprises to connect all their network locations to their cloud-based applications, answering the enterprise need for agility, affordability, visibility and control with highly secure, private, dedicated access to leading third-party cloud service providers.
