Silver Up Slightly at $19.12 per Ounce

This morning, spot silver gained $0.06, reaching $19.12 per ounce, Reuters reported. Continued conflict in Ukraine is raising the value of precious metals, and if US payrolls data is weak on Friday they may further increase in value.

That said, the rising global stock markets, along with a strong US economy, may prove a hindrance to the metal.
