Coeur d’Alene Bids for Orko Silver Corp

Reuters reported that Coeur d’Alene Mines Corp has offered to buy Orko Silver Corp, stepping in front of First Majestic Silver, and vying for control of one of the world’s largest silver deposits.

As quoted in the market report:

Orko’s board said it backed the Coeur’s more cash-rich offer as superior to that from First Majestic but analyst Stuart McDougall of Cormark Securities said there was a reasonable chance of a counter offer.
