As quoted in the market news:

Commodity prices are in “no man’s land” with the prices not yet sufficiently low to reflect near recessionary conditions but too low for producers to continue growth. Read the view of Barclays research MD Kevin Norrish on page 11 of this edition Mining Weekly that the fundamentals are a lot stronger and supportive than the prices suggest and notes that the supply and demand balance remains fairly tight, with Chinese import demand still strong.
