Platts reported that Canada Lithium’s commissioning of its lithium mine and processing facility is on track in spite of water discharge problems. Preliminary assessment showed that about 50,000 cubic matures of water have been released.

On becoming aware of the event, the company notified the Quebec Ministere du Developpement durable, de l’Environnement de la Faune et des Parcs who attended on site to review the area where the water discharge took place.
