The market news is quoted as saying,

Natural gas, nickel and aluminum climbed at least 1.6 percent to lead gains in 16 of 24 commodities tracked by the S&P GSCI Index, which climbed 0.3 percent. Hogs and cattle led declines, losing 0.4 percent or more. Crude oil swung between gains and losses near $89 a barrel in New York.
