Base Metals Investing Reuters reported China Steel (TPE:2002) plans to ask miners BHP Billiton (NYSE:BHP) and Rio Tinto (NYSE:RIO) to delay iron ore.

As quoted in the market news:
Sluggish demand has forced steelmakers across Asia to curb production, although China Steel may be among the first to have sought a delay in raw material shipments.
