Glance Technologies Inc. (CSE:GET.CN) / (FKT:GJT) is pleased to provide this update to its shareholders on the progress of Glance’s mobile payments application for restaurants, Glance Pay.
In the past week, Glance Pay successfully went live in five additional restaurants: Kingston Taphouse & Grill in downtown Vancouver; Bravo Cucina in North Vancouver; The Bayside Lounge and The Park in Vancouver’s West End; and Caffé Mangia in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. These restaurants join the group of award-winning and well-recognized participating restaurants that already offer Glance Pay.
Glance continues to sign up additional restaurants to Glance Pay and in the past ten days, Glance signed up five additional restaurants. Glance is very excited to continue to have Glance Pay go live in its participating restaurants. Its goal is to become the largest mobile payment app for restaurants in North America.
“We are now seeing the results of our highly effective sales team,” says Penny Green, COO, “in addition to the over 50 restaurants already signed, the tremendous restaurant interest for Glance Pay now includes key opportunities with six high profile restaurant chains and more than forty independent restaurants that have engaged us with booked meetings, presentations and/or provided a verbal commitment.”
Glance is also pleased to announce that Penny Green, Glance’s COO, was one of the winners of the Golden Ticket at the recent VanFUNDING 2016 conference to audition for the next season of CBC TV’s Dragon’s Den. Penny attended the VanFUNDING 2016 conference on October 18, 2016, where she had the opportunity to pitch Glance Pay to a leading group of capital markets innovators, investors and enablers in the Canadian fintech crowdfunding and alternative finance markets.
