Oakridge Global Energy Solutions Chooses Palm Bay for Major Expansion Creating 1,000 Jobs
Oakridge Global Energy Solutions (OTCMKTS:OGES) announced plans to expand its operations into a larger 230,000-square-foot facility in Palm Bay and create 1,000 new jobs.
Oakridge Global Energy Solutions (OTCMKTS:OGES) announced plans to expand its operations into a larger 230,000-square-foot facility in Palm Bay and create 1,000 new jobs.
As quoted in the Orlando Business Journal article:
Oakridge Global Energy Solutions is a “made in USA” energy storage solutions company that uses technology to develop and make advanced, high-quality cells, batteries and power systems. The Palm Bay expansion will help the company deliver its battery products across a range of industrial segments. The manufacturing-related jobs will have an average annual wage of $50,075.
Lynda Weatherman, CEO of the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, called the selection of Palm Bay a “high-tech match,” since only six locations in the U.S. have a higher concentration of workers in advanced industries.
OGES Executive Chairman and CEO Steve Barber stated:
We’ve called the turning point of the ‘Made in USA’ on-shoring movement pretty accurately, we are bringing jobs back home to America, and as a foreign player by definition, few can compete with us on the ‘Made in USA’ movement.
