Texas Silver Mine Gets New Life

CNBC News reported on the reopening of a Texas mine that closed in 1942.

The Rio Grande Mining Co., acquired by Vancouver-based Aurcana Corp. in 2008, is building roads and installing underground equipment. It expects to begin producing 800-pound (362-kilogram) silver bars by the middle of next year.
