Platinum Eases 0.2 Percent

Reuters reported platinum prices eased in trade on Tuesday.

As quoted in the market news:

Platinum eased by 0.2 percent to $1,666.99 an ounce.

The price has risen by 9 percent in the last month after a rash of strikes broke out in South Africa’s platinum belt, where most of the world’s supply of metal comes from.
