PRECIOUS METALS: Gold Up On GDP Weakness, ETF Buying

The Wall St. Journal.com reports that  gold prices are being raised by new ETF , trading under the symbol “GLTR” (NYSE:GLTR), containing precious metals, including palladium.

The story is quoted as saying:

“The new ETFs that are just out are adding to physical demand, because as they gather assets they have to invest them into the metals,” said George Gero, vice president with RBC Capital Markets Global Futures.
