The International Mining Investment Conference will run from May 15 to 16 in Vancouver. Here’s what investors should know about this can’t-miss event.

The International Mining Investment Conference (IMIC) is fast approaching, and it’s an event that resource-focused investors won’t want to miss.

Scheduled to run from Tuesday (May 15) to Wednesday (May 16) in Vancouver, IMIC will be hosted by Cambridge House and will feature over 70 companies and 50 industry experts.

Attendance is estimated at 3,000, and all in all the show is setting up to be a busy one. Read on to learn what you need to know if you’re planning to go to this exciting event.

What to do at IMIC

Speaking to the Investing News Network earlier this month, Cambridge House President Jay Martin highlighted a number of can’t-miss events and opportunities at IMIC.

In particular, he encouraged attendees to check out Tuesday morning’s Top Picks at the Show panel featuring Brent Cook of Exploration Insights, David Morgan of the Morgan Report, David Erfle of JuniorMiner Junky, Kai Hoffman of Oreninc and Nick Hodge of the Outsider Club.

“I love this because it lets investors get a bit of a head start. They can show up on Tuesday morning and find out exactly who on the floor is receiving cash from our investment experts,” he explained.

Tuesday will also include panels and presentations on topics such as gold, copper and uranium. And attendees who want to get up close and personal with some of the show’s speakers may want to partake in a walking tour of the show floor — Mercenary Geologist Mickey Fulp and Equity Guru’s Chris Parry will both be hosting these.

Investors who show up early on Wednesday will be treated to a panel that pits gold, cryptocurrencies and cannabis against each other. Moderated by James Black of the CSE, participants will include Morgan, Parry and Jason Hamlin of Gold Stock Bull. They will discuss which offers the best return this year.

Battery metals enthusiasts will also be pleased to hear that Benchmark Mineral Intelligence will have its own pavilion at IMIC and will be running a series of presentations on lithium and electric vehicles on Wednesday.
