Stornoway Reports the Latest Updates from Construction of the Extension on Route 167

  Stornoway Diamond Corporation (TSX:SWY) reported the latest construction updates from the extension on Route 167. The extension will provide year round access to Stornoway’s Renard project. The Quebec Ministry of Finance has advised Stornoway that the delay in granting contracts for civil works on segments C and D of the extension could result in an delay of all-season road access to the project.

As quoted in the press release:

Construction on the southernmost segments A and B is progressing well, and to date 109km out of 143km has been completed to a standard sufficient for vehicle access. In the north, tree clearing and ground surveying are approaching completion over the 100km of the road covered by segments C and D.
