Lucapa Receives Favorable Bulk Sampling Results from Lulo Concession

Lucapa Diamond Company Ltd. (ASX:LOM) announced that the BLK_29 alluvial bulk sample from its Angola-based Lulo diamond concession has yielded “exceptional diamond grades and average stone sizes.”

Lucapa Diamond Company Ltd. (ASX:LOM) announced that the BLK_29 alluvial bulk sample from its Angola-based Lulo diamond concession has yielded “exceptional diamond grades and average stone sizes.”

Highlights include:

  • Lucapa achieves exceptional diamond grades of 40.14 carats per 100 cubic metres and an average stone size of 3.59 carats from the BLK_29 bulk sample at Lulo
  • BLK_29 includes large diamonds weighing 34.70 carats, 17.35 carats and 9 .9 0 carats
  • All three of the largest diamonds from BLK_29 confirmed as Type IIa gems, one of the rarest categories of diamonds in the world
  • These bulk sampling results provide further encouragement for the new alluvial diamond mining operations at Lulo
