As quoted in the market news:

Renova, an unlisted private company, owns the Transalloys manganese smelter in Mpumalanga province and 49% of the United Manganese of Kalahari (UMK) manganese mine in the Northern Cape. The company is considering building the sinter plant on the Transalloys site to beneficiate the manganese ore into higher-value silica manganese.
