BC Iron asks Regent Pacific to consult in ‘good faith’
Mining Weekly reports that BC Iron (ASX:BCI) has asked Regent Pacific (HKG:0575) to consult “in good faith” to determine whether the recently-signed arrangement could proceed.
Mining Weekly reports that BC Iron (ASX:BCI) has asked Regent Pacific (HKG:0575) to consult “in good faith” to determine whether the recently-signed arrangement could proceed.
The editorial is quoted as saying,
Regent Pacific recently found itself faced with a quandary after the Australian Takeovers Panel sided with BC Iron on an abandoned takeover offer.
BC Iron entered into a scheme implementation agreement with Regent Pacific in January, under which the Asian mining house offered to buy all BC Iron’s shares for A$3,30 a share.
