Axiom Mining (‘Axiom’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that on the back of recent progress in negotiations with the Solomon Islands Government for the licensing of the Isabel Nickel Project it has obtained funding to continue its progress on this world class opportunity.
To further advance its licence applications for the Isabel Nickel Project, a series of ministerial meetings and presentations was recently held with the Solomon Islands Caucus including the Prime Minister Manasseh Sogovare.
Axiom was accompanied at the meetings by key stakeholders and shareholders. Axiom received positive ministerial recognition, support and understanding of the benefits of its plans for the project to the Solomon Islands economy. The Company is now dealing with the Ministry of Mines as to the processing of its licence applications and is optimistic of a favourable outcome from current negotiations.
Axiom CEO Mr Ryan Mount said:

“The significant work and effort by our team and by our stakeholders towards our objective of securing approvals for the Isabel Nickel Project is showing progress. Negotiations are in an advanced stage with Government, initial funding is in place and our landowner partners continue with their steadfast support.
I remain confident in the delivery of our initial licensing objectives, enabling us to harness our expert team’s commitment to project development in order to realise significant value from this world class nickel project in Solomon Islands.”
