Global Daily Fantasy Sports Inc (TSXV:DFS), a licensed and regulated provider of fantasy sports software in partnership with Scientific Games Corp (NASDAQ:SGMS) announced their promotional 2018 world cup daily fantasy tournament.

SG Digital is the new digital division of Scientific Games Corporation, formed by the combination of two top-tier companies, SG Interactive and NYX Gaming Group. Global and NYX entered into an exclusive development and distribution agreement for Global’s innovative daily fantasy sports solution, the “DFS product” and have a commercial relationship for the distribution of the DFS product through SG Digital’s Open Gaming System™ (“OGS”).

The tournament will begin June 14th and will run the full length of the World Cup, featuring weekly prizes as well as a grand prize to the player who ultimately wins the tournament upon conclusion of the 2018 World Cup™ final, to be held on July 15th. The campaign is designed to provide an entertaining sportsbetting and OGS community-centric experience, while introducing and featuring Global’s DFS product, SG Digital’s OpenBet sportsbook and football themed slots, Foxin’ Wins Football Fever and Top Strike Championship, two new NextGen studio games available via OGS.
