Silvercorp Reports Resources Estimate on the Silvertip Silver-Lead-Zinc Property in British Columbia

Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX:SVM,NYSE:SVM) announced a resource update on the Silvertip property in British Columbia.

The base case resource for 2011 is estimated for resources greater than 200 grams per tonne (g/t) silver (Ag) equivalent.
