Mineweb reported the impasse to sign a peach deal with strikers, unions and Lonmin (LSE:LMI) is continuing as representatives for each group left the meeting on Thursday.
As quoted in the market news:
Everyone, excluding the striking workers and union, the Association of Mineworkers and Construction union (AMCU), are signatories to the accord struck in the early hours of this morning.
The worker representatives are said to have gone back to the rest of the strikers to test the waters before choosing whether or not to sign the accord, while AMCU is to host a media briefing tomorrow to give feedback on why it has not signed.
