Impala to Build Power Plant Fired With Fuel Cells

Mineweb reported that Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd. (OTCMKTS:IMPUY)will build a power plant fired by fuel cells at its South African refinery as it seeks to boost demand amid falling prices.

As quoted in the market news,

The cells, driven by excess hydrogen from the refining process, will use platinum as a catalyst to generate an initial 1.8 megawatts at the Springs-based plant, 65 kilometers (40 miles) east of Johannesburg, Impala said Wednesday.
