Gold, Near Record, Trades Little Changed as Investors Watch Fed Meeting

Bloomberg reports that precious metals are up as investors watched for signals on the dollar and rates from the U.S. Federal Reserve’s two-day policy meeting.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Cash silver was little-changed at $45.46 an ounce after touching a record $49.79 on April 25 before slumping 3 percent yesterday. Palladium gained 0.3 percent to $754.75 an ounce and platinum was little-changed at $1,808.35 an ounce.
