Asante Gold Corporation (CSE:ASE) announced plans to commence a diamond drilling program next week on the Betanase concession to test the strong gold-in-soil anomaly previously outlined by Perseus Mining Ltd.
Betanase adjoins to the south of the AngloGold Ashanti/Randgold Resources Obuasi mining lease. The company plans to drill an initial four to six drill holes totalling 750 metres. Further updates and results will be provided as available.
