Peru’s Tin Production is Down

Mineweb reported on Peru’s mining over 2011, noting tin production has dropped.

As quoted in the market news:

Peru’s sole tin miner, Minsur, reported a 2.27% decrease in tin production in November 2011 from 2,449 metric tons in November 2010 to 2,393 metric tons. In the period from January to November 2011, accumulated tin production plunged 15.31% to 26,623 metric tons from 31,435 metric tons reported from January to November 2010.
