SADMPR Accept Offer After CCMA Intervention

Financial Mail reported that a strike by the National Union of Mineworkers has ended its strike and agreed to a 9% salary increase.

The market news is quoted as saying:

SADMPR employees affiliated with NUM went on strike last week when SADMPR turned down their demands, including a 10% salary increase and an increase of the housing allowance which has stood at R877 for almost two decades.
