Kennady Intersects 73 Meters of Kimberlite at Kennady North

Kennady Diamonds Inc. (TSXV:KDI) announced that the first infill drill hole of the 2013 summer exploration program at its Kennady North diamond project has intersected about 73 meters of kimberlite.

Kennady Diamonds Inc. (TSXV:KDI) announced that the first infill drill hole of the 2013 summer exploration program at its Kennady North diamond project has intersected about 73 meters of kimberlite.

As quoted in the press release:

Hole KDI-13-030 was drilled from land to the west of Kelvin Lake at an inclination of minus 45 degrees and made the following kimberlite intersects:

  • 56.99 meters from a down-hole depth of 70.49 meters to 127.48 meters
  • 12.82 meters from 157.41 meters to 170.23 meters
  • 2.29 meters from 174.61 meters to 176.90 meters
  • 1.22 meters from 244.75 meters to 245.97 meters

Hole KDI-13-030 was drilled to a total depth of 262 meters. This is the first of eight planned infill drill holes at the north lobe of the Kelvin kimberlite. The infill holes are designed to add to the data set from previous drilling to advance the Company’s plans to define a maiden resource at Kennady North.
