Mining Web reported Peru’s Mining Ministry says molybdenum, iro ore, gold and silver production are up, while rare earths and base metals have fallen.

Finally, the DPM reported tungsten production for the first eight months of this year has been 384 metric tons, a 23% drop from the same period of a year ago when production was recorded at 499 metric tons.
August production of tungsten this year plummeted 31% from 66 metric tons in August 2010 to 45 metric tons.
