Knick Exploration (TSXV:KNX) reported results from ground field magnetic, geological mapping and VLF electromagnetic surveys from October 2014. Work was completed at the Spirit Lake gold area of the Trecesson property.
As quoted in the press release:
The two main historical quartz veins were located and mapped. They are poorly exposed in old trench/pit workings. The first was traced for a surface strike length of approximately 400m and with plus 2m widths observed in places. Preliminary prospecting and grab sampling results by Knick in 2011 returned assay results up to 18.21g/t gold in this area (previously reported)². The second quartz vein was traced for surface strike length of about 40m and with 1 meter widths observed. Both veins trend 045° and appear to dip subvertically.
