Pure Energy Minerals Completes Drill Program on the CV-2 Well at Lithium Brine Project in Nevada
Pure Energy Minerals (TSXV:PE,FWB:A111EG,OTC:HMGLF) reported that drilling on the CV-2 exploration well in the Lithium Brine Project in Clayton Valley, Nevada, has been completed. The Company also previously drilled and installed its CV-1 test production well to a total measured depth of 275 meters. CV-2 is 1 kilometer to the south of the CV-1 drill hole.
As quoted in the press release:
The Company through its operator, GeoXplor Corp., has now successfully drilled the CV-2 exploration well to a total depth of 296 m (970 feet). CV-2 is located 1 km to the south of the Company’s CV-1 drill hole. On site observations confirmed that brine-like fluids were intersected from 198 m (650 feet) depth to total depth at 295 m (970 feet), resulting in a minimum intersected interval of approximately 100 m. These fluids are very likely present within the same brine-bearing horizon which was identified in CV-1, from 140 -275 m depth.
Pure Energy Minerals CEO, Robert Mintak, said:
Our team is extremely pleased about the 100% drilling success rate. We are very encouraged by the results from these test wells, as it confirms the lateral continuity of a pervasive mineralization zone that potentially extends even deeper beneath our exploration area.
