Formation Metals Announces Re-Election of Mari-Ann Green and Scott Bending

Formation Metals Inc. (TSX:FCO) announced the re-election of Mari-Ann Green and Scott Bending at the annual general and special meeting of shareholders. Other resolutions considered and passed at the meeting were the re-appointment of Deloitte LLP as the auditor, authorization of a majority voting policy and advance notice policy, and the approval of the alteration to Formation’s articles to provide for annual elections of directors and the re-confirmation of the shareholder rights plan.

Accordingly, the directors of Formation are Mari-Ann Green, Scott Bending, James Engdahl, Robert Quinn, William Scales, Robert Metka, David Stone and Greg Hahn.

Ms. Green is currently also Formation’s Chairman and CEO and Mr. Bending is the President.

The other resolutions considered at the meeting, being the re-appointment of Deloitte LLP as the auditor of Formation, the authorization of a majority voting policy and advance notice policy for Formation, the approval of the alteration to Formation’s articles to provide for annual elections of directors and the re-confirmation of the shareholder rights plan, were passed in accordance with the recommendations of management.
