Forbes reports experts expect strong results on account of high commodity prices and stable production for Rio Tinto (NYSE:RIO,LON:RIO,ASX:RIO).

Forbes reports experts expect strong results on account of high commodity prices and stable production for Rio Tinto (NYSE:RIO,LSE:RIO,ASX:RIO).

The market news is quoted as saying,

Overall, the operational costs of the mining company is set to rise due to the increased energy prices, high labor costs and investments in organic growth as the company tries to catch up with the rising demand across all the commodities. However, this increase in expenses will be more than offset by higher realized prices of produced metal ores and metals. We estimate the 1H earnings for the company to touch $8 billion, posting around 40% jump from last year.
