Orezone Gold CEO Ron Little Talks Gold in Burkina Faso

Orezone Gold Corporation (TSX:ORE) CEO Ron Little spoke to the Investing News Network at the 2015 PDAC conference in Toronto about the Bomboré Gold Project in Burkina Faso, West Africa: “we are currently finishing a feasibility, it should be wrapped up by the end of March, [sic] file the document in April, and spend the rest of this year trying to finance and building the project.”

Orezone Gold Corporation (TSX:ORE) CEO Ron Little spoke to the Investing News Network at the 2015 PDAC conference in Toronto about the Bomboré Gold Project in Burkina Faso, West Africa. According to Mr. Little, “we are currently finishing a feasibility, it should be wrapped up by the end of March, [sic] file the document in April, and spend the rest of this year trying to finance and building the project.” Mr. Little expects that permitting will be done, either by the end of the year, or in the first quarter of 2016.

The Bomboré Gold Project is a large, multiphase gold deposit, located just 85 km east of the capital city, Ouagadougou. Bomboré has exceptional infrastructure including being adjacent to a paved national highway, access to a high-voltage power line, available water and a local labour force. The Bomboré 2013 resource indicates 4.56 Moz in the measured & indicated category, and 0.72 Moz of inferred resources that is amenable to open pit extraction. In January 2015, Orezone Gold signed a royalty purchase agreement with Sandstorm Gold for US$3 million in exchange for a 0.45% net smelter return royalty to Sandstorm.
