Samuel Strengthens Midwest Presence

Samuel, Son & Co., Limited reports it has acquired Basic Stainless Inc. a service center operating in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The press release is quoted as saying,

Basic Stainless will operate as Basic Stainless, a division of Samuel, Son & Co. Inc. with Jim Young, the former owner, as general manager reporting to Al Bromley, president of Samuel, Son & Co. Inc.  The addition of Basic Stainless will bring to seven the number of Samuel locations in the Midwest region.  Basic Stainless will immediately expand its current inventory of stainless sheet, plate, bar, pipe and tube and add aluminum products in grade of 3003, 5052 and 5086.
