Chavez plans to export aluminum to Belarus

El Universal reports that Venezuela is currently performing a feasibilty study in hopes of extablishing an aluminum exporting relationship with Belarus, in addition to current exports of oil .  Chavez announced this on his recent tour of Belarusisan company Belaz.

The story is quoted as saying:

“In the future, we could send in aluminum. Now, we are sending oil,” Chávez said. The Venezuelan president also announced the nationalization of gold mines Las Cristinas and Las Brisas.
