Strateco Resources Begins Legal Action Against Quebec Environmental Agency

Mining Weekly reported that Strateco Resources has filed legal action against Quebec’s MDDEFP because of its moratorium on the issuance of uranium project permits, saying the company has suffered significant losses because of it.

As quoted in the news article:

Strateco on Monday said it held Blanchet liable for damages caused by his “misconduct” up until this time, and that it had given instructions for legal proceedings to be instituted to obtain compensatory and punitive damages.
