Business Wire reported that Magnesium Elektron plans to display Lightweight Magnesium Aircraft Seat at Aircraft Interiors Show in Hamburg, Germany, April 14-16.

Visitors to Magnesium Elektron’s stand (Hall B7, stand 7A27) will notice the gathering interest in magnesium for aircraft interiors, particularly seating. There is now a certification route for seats containing Elektron^®43 magnesium alloy, and the latest revision to the SAE standard will, when published later this year, make the overall position for magnesium usage clearer.
