Metal Bulletin reported that as a result of poor market conditions, United Manganese of Kalahari (Pty) Ltd. and Kudumane Manganese Resources (Pty) Ltd. will ship less manganese ore.
As quoted in the market news:
UMK, which normally exports about 300,000 tpy manganese ore, will reduce its monthly shipments by two thirds in June, Metal Bulletin understands. Kudumane, which expects to ramp up to production levels of 2 million tpy in 2014, will cut shipments by 25% or 50%, according to market sources.
