Graphite One Announces MOU With Alaska’s Large Mine Permit Team

Graphite One Resources Inc. (TSXV:GPH,OTCQX:GPHOF) signed a Memorandum Of Understanding with the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Office of Project Management and Permitting, for engagement with the State’s Large Mine Permitting Team. The LMPT will dialog with Graphite One regarding the development of a Quality Assurance Program Plan; review and comment on applications and numerous State permit requirements; and review, analyze, and evaluate complex technical documents for adequacy and soundness.

More specifically, the Large Mine Permit Team (“LMPT”) is involved from pre-permitting to post-closure of mines and has multi-disciplinary expertise (geologists, engineers, hydrologists, biologists, environmental scientists). With respect to Graphite One, and as part of the pre-permitting process the LMPT will: 1. Dialog with Graphite One regarding the development of a Quality Assurance Program Plan (“QAPP”); 2. Review and comment on applications and numerous State permit requirements; and 3. Review, analyze, and evaluate complex technical documents for adequacy and soundness. With respect to Graphite One, and as part of the pre-permitting process the LMPT will: 1. Dialog with Graphite One regarding the development of a Quality Assurance Program Plan (“QAPP”); 2. Review and comment on applications and numerous State permit requirements; and 3. Review, analyze, and evaluate complex technical documents for adequacy and soundness.
