Canyon Copper: Inferred Resource on Longshot Ridge Copper Skarn Deposit

Canyon Copper Corp.  (OTCBB:CNYC) reported that a Canadian National Instrument 43-101 report has been completed in which Giroux Consultants Ltd. estimated indicated and inferred resources on the Longshot Ridge copper skarn deposit at the New York Canyon Project.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The mineral resource estimate is based on 58 historical drill holes and 38 drill holes completed by the Company during the period from 2004 to 2005. This data was complemented with samples from 34 surface trenches and road cuts obtained from Longshot Ridge by previous exploration operators.
