BNN reported that PotashCorp’s (TSX:POT, NYSE:POT) decline in Tuesday trading pulled the TSX down, as investors raised new concern over supply and demand globally for potash.

As quoted in the BNN report:

Potash, the world’s biggest fertilizer producer, dropped 3.3 percent after disappointing results from rival Mosaic Co (NYSE:MOS) reflected falling potash prices and raised concerns about demand. Potash’s fall was the biggest negative influence on the index.
