Potash Mine Proposed Near White City

Global Regina reported that Vale (NYSE:VALE) is proposing to build a potash mine near White City, Saskatchewan.

As quoted in the market news:

The $3-billion project will produce 2.9 million tonnes of potash solution. The project is currently in the pre-feasibility stage until the end of this year. Vale held an information session at the White City Community Centre today from 4 to 8pm. Project Manager Will Longworth says the company wanted to give community members a forum to address concerns and answer questions.
