Key milestones in the US lithium resource space also provide significant insights into the future prospects for Jindalee’s project. Lithium Americas (TSX:LAC), for instance, has received a total of US$945 million investment from General Motors, which will fund the development, construction and operation of the Thacker Pass project in Humboldt County, Nevada. In October 2024 LAC closed a $2.3 billion loan from the US Department of Energy and in April 2025 announced the Final Investment Decision for Thacker Pass following a $250 million investment from Orion Resource Partners.
Another lithium resource developer in Nevada, Australia-based Ioneer (ASX:INR) has closed a US$996 million loan guarantee from the US Department of Energy to finance the development of its flagship Rhyolite Ridge lithium-boron project.
The US government has taken further action to bolster domestic critical mineral production. On 20 March 2025, President Trump issued a significant executive order titled "Immediate Measures to Increase American Mineral Production", underscoring the urgency and strategic imperative of increasing domestic supply chains for critical minerals. This order builds on previous initiatives by fast-tracking the permitting processes, prioritizing access to mineral-rich federal lands, clarifying regulatory frameworks, and mobilizing substantial financial resources – including Defense Production Act (DPA) funds – towards domestic mineral projects.
As one of the largest lithium resources in the US and situated on federal lands, Jindalee’s McDermitt Lithium Project stands to potentially benefit from these accelerated permitting processes and enhanced government support mechanisms. The economic metrics revealed in the PFS paint a compelling picture of the McDermitt Lithium Project's potential:
Production Capacity: The Project is set to produce 1.8 Mt of battery-grade lithium carbonate over its first 40 years, with an annual output forecast of 47,500 tons per annum (tpa) in the initial 10 years, tapering to 44,300 tpa over the first 40 years.
Financial Metrics: The Project boasts a net present value (NPV) of US$3.23 billion at an 8 percent discount rate, with an internal rate of return (IRR) of 17.9 percent. These figures underscore the Project’s strong economic viability.
Payback Period: Investors can expect a payback period of less than five years, a relatively short timeframe for a project of this magnitude.
Break-even Price: The break-even NPV price is approximately US$14,600/t of lithium carbonate, providing a buffer against market fluctuations.
The PFS estimates a total project cost of US$3.02 billion, which includes a prudent 21 percent contingency margin. This substantial investment is balanced by impressive profitability projections, including an EBITDA margin of 66 percent generating post-tax free cash flow of US$6.6 billion during the first decade of operations. With a pre-tax net operating cashflow margin of 17 percent at current spot prices, McDermitt shows strong cash generation potential.
These financial indicators suggest that McDermitt is not only economically viable but potentially highly profitable, positioning it as an attractive prospect for investors and strategic partners alike.
The McDermitt Project is located in Malheur County on the Oregon-Nevada border and is approximately 35 kilometres west of the town of McDermitt. The 100-percent-owned asset covers 54.6 square kilometres of claims at the northern end of the McDermitt volcanic caldera.
The Project is characterized by its unique sedimentary lithium deposits, primarily composed of lithium-bearing clays, a geological formation that sets McDermitt apart from many other lithium projects worldwide. This sedimentary nature of the deposit offers several advantages:
The lithium-rich clays at McDermitt are part of a broader geological context that includes volcanic tuffs and sedimentary rocks. This geological setting is indicative of a complex depositional history, which has resulted in the concentration of lithium in economically viable quantities.
The 2023 mineral resources estimate (MRE) for the McDermitt Project contains a combined indicated and inferred mineral resource inventory of 3 billion tons at 1,340 parts per million (ppm) lithium for a total of 21.5 Mt LCE at 1,000 ppm cut-off grade.
Ian Rodger is a qualified mining business executive with almost 15 years of experience in various roles including as a mining engineer for Rio Tinto across two large greenfield mine developments, before successfully transitioning into mining corporate finance where he held Executive and Director positions at RFC Ambrian overseeing origination and management of numerous mandates across a range of corporate advisory roles. Rodger was the project director for Oz Minerals (ASX:OZL) where he made significant contributions to successfully define the value potential of the West Musgrave nickel/copper province through the delivery of a portfolio of growth studies. "The Dykes River Intrusion is a layered mafic intrusion. Our initial 7 diamond drill holes comprised 4 holes that tested the semi-massive to massive vanadiferous titanomagnetite layers and 3 holes that were sited mostly above and to the south of the magnetite layers. The 3 holes reported herein will facilitate a complete sampling of the entire intrusive layering sequence. These seven successful drill holes test a highly mineralized zone, confirming the extraordinary potential lying within our 20 km of high magnetic responses and titanomagnetite layers," commented Michael Garagan, CGO & Director of Saga Metals .
Interpretation of the Drill Results for HEZ-06, HEZ-02 & HEZ-03:
HEZ-06, HEZ-02 & HEZ-03 were all drilled within the hangingwall of the oxide layering zones. These layering intercepts bracketed the oxide layering intersected in HEZ-01, HEZ-04, HEZ-05 & HEZ-07, which intercepted the main layers of the titanomagnetite mineralization.
These last three drill holes complete the evaluation over the cross section of the entire magnetic anomaly drilled during this program, which has allowed the team to isolate four separate magmatic layers across the zone of mineralization, which is mappable and trackable. These consistent brackets of VTM mineralization will be the focus of SAGA's efforts for both mapping and metallurgical purposes.
Next Steps for the Radar Project:
The Radar Project has completed its first critical steps with the proof-of-concept 2025 winter drill program, which highlights the significance of the correlation between surface samples, geophysics, and drilling. SAGA is now targeting its other magnetic anomalies across the Property, all of which are larger than the one recently drilled.
Next steps to quickly delineate drill targets will involve completing detailed ground geophysics over the main regional airborne magnetic anomalies, as shown in Figure 2 below. In conjunction with ground-based geophysics over the priority anomalies, SAGA plans to execute a property-wide high-resolution aeromagnetic survey to locate high-priority drilling targets.
Additionally, SAGA has initiated a metallurgy and petrography analysis on the core from the Hawkeye zone. This work will determine the recoverable vanadiferous magnetite and the quality of potential concentrates.
Lastly, SAGA will conduct alternate whole-rock analyses to delineate secondary mineralization of phosphate, manganese, and scandium, as well as certain REE that are prospective in this large mafic layered intrusion.

Radar Ti-V-Fe Property Overview:
The Company's 100%-owned Radar Property is located 10 km from the coastal city of Cartwright, Labrador, benefiting from tremendous infrastructure, including road access, deep-water port, airstrip and nearby hydro-electric power. The Radar Property comprises 24,175-hectares and entirely encloses the Dykes River intrusive complex.
The Dykes River intrusive complex is a recently recognized Mesoproterozoic layered mafic intrusion (Gower, 2017). It has gained attention due geological similarities to large AMCG-type intrusions and a very extensive titanium–vanadium–iron (Ti-V-Fe) rich layer.
The 2025 drill program confirmed massive to semi-massive oxide layering, hosting titanium and vanadium mineralization, representing only 1/40 th of the approximately 20km long oxide layering zone identified at the Radar project. The geological context identified by Dr. Al Miller's petrographic studies has substantially advanced understanding of the Radar deposit. These findings indicate a titanomagnetite mineralization system which is advantageous for simplified metallurgical processing and potentially improved economic outcomes.

On closing of the First Tranche, the Company received gross proceeds of $444,200.10 from the issuance of 1,480,667 flow-through units at a price of $0.30 per unit (" FT Units ") and $795,500 from the issuance of 3,182,000 hard dollar units at a price of $0.25 per unit (" HD Units ").
Each FT Unit consists of one flow-through common share (a " FT Share ") as defined in subsection 66(15) of the Income Tax Act (Canada) (the " Tax Act "), and one transferable common share purchase warrant (a " Warrant "). Each Warrant will entitle its holder to purchase one common share in the capital of the Company (a " Warrant Share ") at a price of $0.50 for 24 months from the closing date of the Offering (the " Closing Date "). The Warrants and the Warrant Shares underlying the FT Units will not qualify as "flow-through shares" under the Tax Act.
Each HD Unit consists of one common share (a " HD Share ") and one Warrant.
All securities issued in connection with the First Tranche are subject to a hold period of four months and one day following the Closing Date pursuant to applicable securities laws.
In connection with the First Tranche, the Company paid an aggregate of $31,710.01 in finder's fees and issued 108,616 finder's warrants (each, a " Finder's Warrant ") to certain finders. Each Finder's Warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of $0.50 per share for a period of 24 months from its date of issue.
Each of the Warrants and Finder's Warrants will be subject to the right of the Company to accelerate the expiry date of the Warrants and Finder's Warrants to a date that is 30 days following dissemination of a news release announcing such acceleration if, at any time, after the Closing Date, the closing price of the Company's common shares equals or exceeds $0.75 for a period of ten consecutive trading days on the TSX Venture Exchange.
The gross proceeds from the FT Units will be used by the Company for "Canadian exploration expenses" that are "flow-through critical mineral mining expenditures" (as such terms are defined in the Tax Act) on the Company's Labrador, Canada properties. The net proceeds of the HD Units will be used by the Company for administrative and general working capital.
Certain insiders of SAGA participated in the First Tranche, acquiring an aggregate of 442,000 HD Units for aggregate gross proceeds of $110,500. Participation of such insiders in the Offering constitutes a "related party transaction" as defined under Multilateral Instrument 61-101 Protection of Minority Security Holders in Special Transactions (" MI 61-101 ") and is exempt from the formal valuation and minority shareholder approval requirements of MI 61-101 as neither the fair market value of the securities issued to the insiders nor the consideration paid by the insiders exceeded 25% of SAGA's market capitalization.

The SAGA team has completed an assessment of assay results from drill holes HEZ-05 and HEZ-07. Geochemical analysis confirms a consistent Ti-V-Fe relationship, aligning well with the oxide layering previously observed in HEZ-01 and HEZ-04. Notably, HEZ-05 contains over 180 meters of core, and HEZ-07 nearly 100 meters, both averaging over 25% titanomagnetite content. Several standout samples, such as those listed in Table 2, report titanomagnetite concentrations as high as 60%.
HEZ-05, a twin of HEZ-04 but drilled at a 70-degree dip, exhibits a strong geological correlation, extending confidence in the continuity of oxide layering down to a vertical depth of 300 meters. Meanwhile, HEZ-07, which targeted a distinct magnetic anomaly, confirmed the extension of oxide layering observed in HEZ-01. This extension appears to be laterally displaced by sinistral faulting relative to the main body. Supporting this interpretation, multiple fault structures were encountered, and several intercepts revealed fine-grained, massive magnetite layers up to 3-meters thick—the highest-grade intervals observed across all drill holes.
The initial seven-hole, 2,200-meter drill program has successfully tested the primary target area, covering a 500 by 350-meter panel. With the inclusion of recent assays from HEZ-05 and HEZ-07, the continuity of high-grade oxide mineralization is now supported to a vertical depth of 300 meters. These new results reinforce earlier findings from HEZ-01 and HEZ-04, confirming the presence of extensive and consistently mineralized oxide layers.
Drilling Highlights to Date:

Drilling also confirmed massive to semi-massive oxide layering, hosting titanium and vanadium mineralization, with significant widths up to 210 meters within the drill core. The geological context identified by Dr. Al Miller's petrographic studies has substantially advanced understanding of the Radar deposit. These findings indicate a titanomagnetite mineralization system which is advantageous for simplified metallurgical processing and potentially improved economic outcomes.
The 2025 drill campaign represents 1/40 th of the approximately 20km long oxide layering zone identified at the Radar project. Following these encouraging results, Saga Metals plans to systematically expand exploration using proven and accurate methodologies—magnetic surveys followed by targeted drilling.

Radar Ti-V-Fe Property Overview:
The Company's 100%-owned Radar Property is located 10 km from the coastal city of Cartwright, Labrador, benefiting from tremendous infrastructure including, road access, deep-water port, airstrip and nearby hydro-electric power. The Radar Property comprises 24,175-hectares and entirely encloses the Dykes River intrusive complex.
The Dykes River intrusive complex is a recently recognized Mesoproterozoic layered mafic intrusion (Gower, 2017). It has gained attention due geological similarities to large AMCG-type intrusions and a very extensive titanium–vanadium–iron (Ti-V-Fe) rich layer.
Regional airborne magnetic surveys first highlighted the mafic oxide layer and indicated an arcuate 20 km long exploration target.
